Need help to put the lifters togheter again, after cleaning
My set was different assembled ? 60% on way and 40% the other way. Between the plunger and plunger cap is a thin metal (washer)different up and down sides.
What side is toward the plunger cap? is it the side that has a raised center section or the side that has a lowered center section.
Anyone done this and know what is correct?
Peter

I have the 60303 cam/lifter kit. I never checked out the lifters before install, nor have I had any problems with them.
I also have the same Cam/Lifters (not springs though), never took the lifters apart, no issues.

I'm with you, I open/inspect/clean/lube EVERYTHING as assembly line workers have off days and it's not like it's their baby their are assembling. Maybe it can go either way but if we dont have an ans for you dont move until you find out.

From Lunati tech If you remove the pushrod seat and look inside the lifter the washer should Look like it is does in picture #2 with the raised side up towards the pushrod cup. He took one set apart 16 pc and all were the same. So I put the washer/metering plate as above. See attached pic. Thanks all for your inputs.
