Here are a few for tonight. Everyone has been posting some great stuff. I've never seen many of these cars.
Here is a question:
Who was the first to have a car that would eventually be called a Nostalgia Super Stocker?
Maybe the Arlen Vanke Ol' Brownie '63 Plymouth or the Living Legend '63 409 Chevy?
The first N/SS race I ran at was Milan Mi July 1992. The cars I remember being there were Ron Eros 64 Belvedere,Paul Suloff driving the "Old Brownie" clone,Rick Johnsons "No Sponser" 62 Grand Prix Paul Adams "Fountain of Youth" Fairlane. Our Lickity Split 63 Polara was not lettered yet. It was all heads up then. I believe the second race was at Martin MI. Most cars were running high 10/ low 11 second range as I remember. Doug
I think the Midwest Nostalgia SS Assoc was one the first to organize NSS. They had Chevys, Pontiacs, Fords and Mopars. They did an exhibition at the NMCA finals in Memphis in early 90s. The next year NMCA included the first NSS class, which was Heads UP. Those were the days!!!!

Doug, do you have any good pictures of that '63? You took me out at Quaker City in 1995 (your car hadn't been lettered). In fact, you borrowed some jackstands off of us the night before to change transmissions.
I always liked that car.....I have it here on video somewhere, before it was lettered. That was a clean, good looking car. Whatever happened to it?

Jim sold the car to a guy Named Tony Urbanik. My son drove the car for him with the name changed to "Last Minute Madness". The last weekend my son raced the car he won both days at the Chysler Classic in Martin. Tony didn't show up that weekend. We didn't know untiil Monday that he and his family had been murdered on that Friday. The car went to Tonys step sister as he had no living relatives. We tried to buy it back but she wouldn't deal. She sold it to someone in Pa a few years back. The guy e-mailed me once and I never heard from him again. I do have some good pictures ,I'll have to get my wife to scan them. Doug

I know this is a picture of the real deal. Jess Jordon either had the original or a clone in the early 90's. What happened to that car? How about the Red 64 Hemi post car he owned anyone remember that car?
