Wondering which number to use. I prefer to use NGK's as I have had great service through the years. I am planning on switching from 63 max wedge heads to Victors or Procomps. 496,12-1, 600@260,strip only. Wondering what heat range to start with?

dome or flat top pistons?
5671A-8 for dome non projected tip
for dome.

5672A-8 for flat top projected tip

NGK spark plug.

Ross flat top. Thanks for the information. I did not want to guess and carbon every thing up or worse trying to learn every thing the hard way.

That is a good starting point. R5672A-8 (#7173)
But you likely could run a step hotter. A street plug would be BCP7ES (#5030). I ran them at 12.2 CR, but make sure your mixture isn't lean.

thanks for posting about this plugr5671a-8[list# 4554] it is listed for the B1 bs head.i was just researching it.
