used with Dale's pentastar, date code mufflers, all for a perfect fit, no tweaking anywhere.
I have Dale's mufflers on my A12 and they sound very good. They seem to be very free flowing

is Don's the guy with the class C camper in the swap meet end of the aisle every year? I think so, anyway, I got one for my 68 Roadrunner and it was not a great fit... I am using repo exaust manifolds, but the distance between the manifolds was about an inch off and the back end of the pipes where the mufflers mount was off a few inches to one side. Had to pull out the hot wrench and massage it to get it to fit.. one side was hitting the driveshaft and the other was pointing outward.

Thanks Bill. I always trust your advice. I just spoke to Gardners and Eric is great. We do have one MINOR question. On the 68 Hemi California cars, did they come with turndowns or chrome tips and with or without resonators?

I also went with an Accurate system for my 68 Hemi Road Runner. The fit to the manifolds was perfect and the only mod I did was to weld my resonators to the pipes that fit over the axle. You can get them either way and I initially ordered as separate pieces. In my case, as I was putting the system together, it made more sense for me to make those parts as one item for easier installation. However, to install it as one piece you need to have the car on a lift (my case) or put that part of the exhaust in place before the rear end goes in. I also needed to trim down the nipple for the heat tube about 3/4" - 1" or so for a better fit. I upgraded my Hemi mufflers to the "aggressive" sound models and I'm very happy with the tone. I have 4:10 gears in the car and at highway speeds I can still enjoy the radio or have a conversation. When I hit the loud pedal I hear mostly carburators vice exhaust - sounds awesome! Here are links to a couple of short videos to give you a sample of the sounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMutENguP8Ehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-bhI1FDUWE&feature=relatedJim 68 Hemi Road Runner
