V. Gaines decided to go in house with his own engine program and stopped renting from Larry Morgan.. his performance has fallen off while doing his own development..

I love them too, but fact is they have the aero dynamics of a school bus. This has been proven even in factory trim. The 300C has about 10 mph on top end speed. But on a side note, looks like the Mustang gets the nod in the Ford camps..They have about the same aero and drag in the front as the challenger. IMO I still wished they would go with the Challenger.

If this is the legit artwork for next year, shouldn't there be a nitrous explosion coming from the hoodscoop?

Since the Challenger the mustang and the Camaro are all about equally Aerodynamically challenged, why not limit Pro stock to running them exclusively and give them another 20 or so cubes as Aero-compensation????
At least it would be more interesting than watching the "scubbing bubble" looking clone cars they've been running foer the past 10 years!!
Guess that might make too much sense, huh??
I can defineately see your point. The real screwy part of this is these Pro-stock cars don't even resemble their stock counterparts. So why not let all makes run a reduced size Challenger, Mustang, and Camaro. Might as well the Mustang like said earlier has a completely reworked nose.
Leon
What these cars have become has nothing to do with the original idea of Pro-Stock. They are nothing but funny cars with more gears & no nito or blower and an Engine that nobody has ever seen any production car. What should be done is the challenger,Mustang and camaro should run with a stock body,a chassis to handle the et, the block that came in the car and let them have at it. To me that would be Pro-Stock. Just my
