I'm going to be building my first big block. 440 it is going to be a street/strip setup on a budget. I'm looking at stroking it to a 500ci. all forged internals and will have a D1SC procharger on it. right now I'm looking for a set of heads. Ive found the 440 source stealth aluminum head. are these a good head for this build? is there a better iron head? even though i would have to drop the compression? i don't need/want the best out there just something to help me move a 94 club cab dakota to about 11.0 in the 1/4
thanks. Dan.

as cheap as possible with out using junk. and still be able to make power I'm think i need about 600hp at the tires. i already have the supercharger. i want to build the short block strong even if i have to run the stock heads until i get more money thats fine. so i know I'm going to have a forged bottom end. then i can upgrade form there i just want to have every thing planned out before i jump into this. it will also be ran on 93 pump gas with meth injection once the supercharger goes on.

ok ill start one over there. i might have higher goals later, but if i rebuild the bottom anyways i dont think there is a big price difference between the 2 cranks but i could be wrong.
