No, it won't work. The 73-74 seats are totally different, use a different frame, different latch, and don't have the hard plastic backs like the earlier seats.

you can use the covers changing the foam too. Foam and cover will fit perfectly on any frame.
So you can mount 70/71 foam and cover on any seat core including laters.
Remember 71 production did have both seat frames, but keep same foam and cover, so change didn't affect that. Cover just will need to get the right cut outs at release button thing what you make once installed

I'm bassed on B bodies setup changes, that I don't think E bodies are really diff on those details. Maybe diff design on covers and everything but frame core changes should it happen at the same time.
