I read that the tach was an option for the 70/71 duster 340. Does anyone have a pic of a 70/71 A body rally cluster without a tach? Thanks

They just had a blank filler peice with some white rings painted on it.

This is an early barracuda, but all the rallye dash equiped a-bodies without a tach used the same part. It's hard to see, but you can make out the white circles.

Hi, just to let those know that are redoing this style of cluster that we make a PAINT MASK (you cannot decal this with overlays since the rings are raised plastic)for this insert that allows you to first paint the whole thing with a nice fresh black and the apply the mask over the dry black paint. You then spray it with white and peel the mask off leaving the white rings. Much neater than trying to brush paint or paint pen it.

FWIW, similar masks are available for the non-rallye dash gauges and delete panels for 68-70 B body standard (non-rallye dash).

Hope that tidbit might be helpful to somebody. -Brent
