I know it's a long shot but I don't follow the 50's cars that much and a friend here in town is looking for some. He'd prefer new reproductions or NOS but he'll take anything. his entire assemblies are junk. I tried the www.forwardlook.net but no replies yet. Anyone here have a clue on these? Thanks!

If he's willing to pay for NOS, then he may want to look into simply making his own. Simply repair the current parts, make a silicone mold, then cast the lenses with colored material designed for the project, and cast the metal parts out of whatever metals he can melt and plate. It's not as difficult as it sounds, and there is a member here who can direct you to the proper products to use (John, you reading this? ). Also, the HUGE Old Car's swap meet in Iola, WI is this coming week-end. If those parts aren't there, they aren't anywhere! See if you can have a local member who is going look for them for you!

Scott, they are reproduced. On ebay all the time, or used to be, not expensive at all, and NOS ones usually don't get a huge price.
Is he buying a 57 Wagon? If they're the same as the non-wagons, and they look very similar, I probably might have some. PM me.

Don't know if anyone has considered him, but George Laurie in Australia reproduces a lot of vintage Mopar lenses. Don't know his current state of affairs, and don't see this particular model in his list, but maybe... His address is PO Box 114, Tewantin, Queensland, 4565 Australia. E-mail is georgelaurie@bigpond.com
