Hi all, we just had a test and tune session at our local airport for 1/8 mile, we had cement burnout boxes vht and lights for single runs. I ran a 6.48 in the 1/8th, can anyone tell me what that converts to in 1/4 mile. I can,t find last years time slips, thanks Tim

Multiply by 1.58 should be pretty close.
6.48 X 1.58 = 10.24

We had no mph, this only did times and you had to reset after every run, but we did discover that in the future our local airport will work.

I just ran 10.59 (1/4) & 6.70 (1/8th)
6.70 * 1.58 = 10.586
Why does divorce cost so much?
Because it is worth it!!!!!

Different cars will have different 1/8 to 1/4 ratios. But 1.57-1.59 should cover it, if the car was working properly.
wouldn't it also depend on gearing??? or is that strictly set up for 1/4 mile cars that run 1/8's Some of those 1/8 mile cars have such high gears I doubt they'd calculate out w/ that.

swingin is right its all about they way you have your car set up. If you have it geared where its making power on the top end your going to be on the slow side 1/8th mile wise, if you have the valves set for low end power, well your going to be fast on 1/8th mile, gearing, valve setting and others will play a big roll on how fast you can go in 1/8th mile. My roadster went 9.20's all the time on quarter mile, but when i went to Pacemakers i was running 5.80's and 5.90's which is in the 8's so........
Just my 2 cents

According to the 1.58 theory a 6.19 shows 9.78 and I ran 9.85 so its not too far off.
