I have an extra 8 3/4 out of a challenger and I'm wondering what it's worth. It's a 3.23 non sure-grip.

Whoa ive got a few empty housings laying around. What do they go for? Axles are laying in the pile too. No centers though.
I want my fair share

I'd have to double check, I'm almost positive it's a 489 case

I sold an E body complete rear drum to drum with a 742 case 3.23 open rear last year for $550. NOBODY wanted it because of the open rear.
I had it at Carlisle and everyone who looked at it wanted a sure grip.

Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

It's an open carrier...
E's don't bring A money in this rare case. True nearly all E-bodies came with the 8-3/4 so they are hardly rare. Unless you had a low end engine, (like a /6) with 7-1/4, or a big end, (like a Hemi) with a Dana, you got an 8-3/4. Even when Chrysler moved away from the 8-3/4 in 74 my E-bodies still had the 8-3/4. I know of a housing for $100 with axles locally. I had one given to me when I bought a hood cause the guy couldn't sell it. I would start high and lower the price. How High? I am not sure but I would price the third member and add one or two hundred for the axles & housings, Maybe a little more if the brakes are good.
