Terry Pennington just ran [Email]10.41@134.27[/Email] putting the L-88 Corvette as the fastest FAST legal car on the planet........
He also holds the ET record at 10.30.

Dave really pulled this one out of his hat as the Corvette was running great all weekend. I think it was the first time in a long time Dave thought he was beat.
Dave and Terry are both great compeditors thanks for a great weekend!
It should be very interesting in Martin next month.

Your right Eddie, I was almost ready to throw in the towel.  The problem came in when I tried to explain it to the RoadRunner  , she wasn`t ready to throw in the towel.  Terry ran better this weekend than ever before, crazy fast! I let it all hang out and clicked off a 1.61 60ft to Terry`s 1.64 60ft. Clearly the fastest ever side by side 60ft`s. Terry had the "Hemmings" record $1000 bounty in his pocket all day with his best pass of 10.471 and my final round pass came in at 10.469, just enough to snatch it away.   Boy, i really needed it too... Thanks Hemmings! Dad, the kids and I had a great weekend, good people, good food, good racing..
