Terry ran better this weekend than ever before, crazy fast! I let it all hang out and clicked off a 1.61 60ft to Terry`s 1.64 60ft. Clearly the fastest ever side by side 60ft`s. Terry had the "Hemmings" record $1000 bounty in his pocket all day with his best pass of 10.471 and my final round pass came in at 10.469, just enough to snatch it away. Here`s the best part of the whole weekend, right before loading it up for Palooza i dropped the oil, noticed something i didn`t like, cut the filter open and in a last ditch effort i dropped the main caps and switched out the bearings, the whole deal took about 1 hour of trashing. Here`s 3 years worth of 7500 shifts, 7700 traps, 13 1/2 to 1 compression:

I would think the weight distribution and engine setback have a lot more to do with the Corvette's success....?
Gotta give them both the respect they deserve, it's just that ONE car can have four people in it... with all their big cheques loaded in the trunk...


Congrats Dave. Not just for the timeslips, the car is gorgeous.

As a MoPar guy, I have to admit I miss Wayne. He was a funny guy.
