Unfortunately I have reached the age where I have to start downsizing the number of Mopar Project vehicles I have and pass on some of them to other people. I am starting to have to make the hard decisions,one of which is my 1978 Little Red Express truck. It is a the most desirable of the these models with only 2188 ever produced, It is one of only 185 built with air conditioning. The truck has 62,000 original miles and has never been apart. It has the original E58 Police spec 360 engine with the 68 340 spec camshaft,double roller timing chain,and 800 cfm Thermoquad Fireball carb. These were the fastest American production vehicles built in 1978. The truck is complete and very solid. It does run,but has been sitting a few years and would need to be gone through to make a driver out of. It has patina if that is your thing,or restore to as new condition if you so desire. It had the complete exhaust system replaced about 5 years ago and was never driven since. The only real rust on the truck is the bottom front corner of each door,and I have two NOS doors for the truck. I also have brand new oak wood for the sides of the bed and tailgate. I have two sets of Little Red Express wheels and 4 of the original tires these came with,three are in great condition,one has wear on the tread. I have four new centercaps and a replacement windshield too. This is the rarest combination made being red with red interior. Rhode Island does not issue titles for vehicles over ten years old,so the truck will be sold with a current registration in my name and a bill of sale. This documentation should be sufficient to apply for a title in your state if needed. It's a good solid truck.. The truck is sold.

I've owned this truck since new, only 1 driver[ me]. Back seat has hardly been used. Since its an 04.5, there are no truck stopping emissions equipment problems like the 07.5 and newer ones. The truck has only been used as a work horse for maybe 5% of its odometer reading, the rest is just being a daily driver. It's never been wrecked, although I did back into a tree limb and damaged the tailgate. I've done many longevity, tow and performance upgrades to it. It has 7 forged aluminum wheels, B&W turnover ball gooseneck hitch with 5th wheel companion unit[ both never used], Airdog lift pump and filter unit, has been run on Amsoil lubricants its entire life, Zoom ZVT clutch, Bosch Motorsports 50hp injectors, Garrett stage 2 water cooled turbo, Mag Hyteck diff cover, Smarty programmer, factory accessory Jake Brake since new, Rhino Liner, home done cold air intake, custom back up lights in rear bumper, Cooper tires with lots of life, bed mat, Alpine CD player, LED Headlight bulb conversion in new housings, have the factory service manuals[4],
some spare items. Truck needs to have the gate repaired plus total repaint of truck, has a weeping front crank seal, rear pinion seal leaking[ have a new factory one], HVAC doors need to be replaced[ known issue with these trucks, otherwise system works fine], fuel tank has a leak when full[ must drop tank out or take bed off to fix], interior is great other than showing age with faded carpet and some stains, dash is awesome since its been covered since new. $18,000.00 OBO.
