Does anyone know the backspacing on this wheel? 15x7 if I recall correctly.

I want to say Chrysler steel wheels that are 15x7 all have 4-1/4" backspacing.

Looks like the 15 x 6 .5 mid 80s 5th Ave wheels for the wire wheel hub caps. Three of the 5 holes between the lug nuts were used to hold the hub cap lock bracket onto the wheel. Mopar also made a 15 x 7" wide version of the same wheel. They also offered both widths without the small holes between the lug nuts (I looked a long time to find those). I thought the 7" wide had the wheel centers welded to the rims with them
centered on the rim. I believe the 6 1/2 had the same backspacing the 7" wide had. The wheel pictured looks more like a 6 1/2" wide version. I don't have one with the extra holes here to measure anymore. but I believe the rear wheels on my coupe are the 7" wide without the extra holes (which were used on cars without the wire wheel hub caps). When the wire wheel hub caps first came out, many were stolen, so Mopar had to all a hub cap lock, which is what required the extra holes.

Added a pic. Notice how the wheel appears to have a deeper offset the the one the OP posted? That difference is because the back spacing between the 6 1/2" wide wheel and the 7" wheel are both the same.

Looks like the typical later RWD rim. Most I have are 7" and they usually all have the holes.

I agree.

Do you know, or can you measure the back spacing on one of those wheels?

That was what he wants to know.
