I had a 1980 Dodge D350 DRW truck that had them. It was considered an "heavy duty" 360.

My "light duty" 360 in the '79 has them. Wasn't '79 the year they started the emissions equipment, as the '78 LRExpress trucks had more horsepower than the 79's?

My "Medium Duty" '79 PW 360-4 had them.

Those ports in the heads showed up in cars before they showed up in trucks, I'm thinking as early as 75 or 76 in cars. 318 heads had them too. it was an emissions thing.

My 76 volare 318 never had the holes. Maybe different models had them?

i have an E58 [?] 360 cop engine, and it has them.
i just tapped the holes and ran set screws into them.

I don't think my 79 369 has those holes but ita been years since I've seen it without manifolds.
I just watched an episode of Roadkill Garage the other day and Dulcich mentioned about tapping them but his method was pounding welding rod into them.
