…..as used on 69 b body side markers, and a lot of other places.

None of the usual suppliers seem to have them. There are some #8s out there but I need the larger #10.

Any known sources or leads?

Do not need to be exact original, just have to function and look fairly close.
I thought they were being reproduced but damned if I can find anything….

Thanks, I will have to sacrifice one and see if I can cut threads with a die.

Most of the studs are marked up pretty deeply with the very diagonal threads the self cutting nut makes, but
maybe I can go over them with a die and they will be good enough to hold.

I will have to look, but I think I have a bunch of those. Some NOS ones too. If I don't get back to you by Friday night, shoot me a reminder!

AMK sells these 1/8" for $1 each. Cheap enough to ruin a few re-threading for #10. Look here.

You definitely want the mastic or similar or add your own. DAMHIK.

Ask questions when ordering, the small ones are readily available.
EDIT: Corrected the wrench size for the large one

If you can find the 3/8 one with the small hole you can purchase the #10 stamped nut .56 D Mech ZDC P/N B-12980 from AMK and make your own.
You'll need to take the small hole 3/8 and remove the stamped nut and replace it with the #10 nut. Not 100% correct but you won't see it in the end
Contact me if you need help with the process

Are those shown in the picture the originals or examples?
If originals why not refinish them?

Hey ZIPPY if you buy any of them from the links that have been posted can you please tell me if they're actually the correct larger one that you're looking for. I've got friends endlessly looking for the bigger ones with no luck. They've bought from "pictures" only to find they were the smaller type. Thanks.

The smaller size would most likely snap the studs off if forced on.

Tboomer is sending an assortment of used uses of various sizes, I'll likely sacrifice a smaller one to see if I can open it up to #10.

Because they don't hold very well anymore, and because I need alot more of them than I have.

I'd thought about that, but seems like more effort than I wanted to put into it.

Grind off the old nut and tack weld the larger size on?

I think the larger #10 ones are probably gone for good at this point....But sure if I find any I'll get the word out.
