I feel your pain brother. Since my recent cam swap I now have 220 PSI on my street/strip engine. I'm currently building a carb to give E85 a try to see if it will work out for me. Gus

It runs 'ok' at best. If I put in enough base timing to get good low rpm throttle response then it doesn't start well, a start retard box would probably help. The engine has way too much piston to wall clearance, it doesn't have any blow by, but has very noticeable piston slap when cold that never really goes away. The right solution is to take it apart, have the piston skirts coated and change from 75 cc to 88 cc heads, the wrong solution is to sell it and install an aluminum hemi. It doesn't start very well in 35 F https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VG4JPommTXIafter a few minutes it starts better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlWlkcfMHBQ

There is a member looking for a set of those pistons ... B1 Frank , he has a thread going about pistons for use with his iron 452 heads .
running up my post count some more .
