Finally have everything together and in the truck. She makes noise. Still some stuff to do like the exhaust eventually. Need to go over the whole truck again to final set alignment 4 link stuff. Do some paint touch ups and the correct and coat the paint itself for now. But its been a long road and its finally just about there. A quick video of the first fire up link below. When will the extended video version come to a theater near me??? Im gonna guess never....Or maybe not until I can win another NHRA Championship...

Al, can you give a quick run down on the engine specs? Nothing fancy. A KB Block, 4.625" Bryant crank, Aluminum rods, BME pistons, 55MM Bullet roller, Isky red zone lifters, intake is just port matched deal. Milodon pump, Moroso pan, Jesel Belt drive and distributor. Compression is 15.5-1. Cam is 286/302@.050 lobe lift is .5295"/.5066" on a 115 lobe sep. Carb is a 2.200" Braswell. It is just a bracket deal, well likely more .90 stuff than brackets. Can get into more specifics if anyone likes. FWIW truck has a Glide, sheet metal 9" with 4.29 gear and a 15x33 tire. link strut 6.0 moly chassis. Truck is all steel except front clip. Stock dash and power windows still intact. We still need to build the exhast just waiting on some of the tubing to show up.

I'm curious as to how well the cast single 4 intake works without extensive porting. This one has not been touched other than a port match and carb pad blending. Something I may do at a later date but for what I am doing with it should work fine. FWIW it makes good power now.
