Did you test the fuses? Not just look and say they were ok. Actually test them?

I know this sounds hokey, but try it.
Switch your high/low beam selector about 20 times and recheck for power. It only takes a minute, and worth a try.

I never understood why they felt the need to have what's essentially a computer board control the headlights.

A simple fuse and a switch wasn't good enough anymore. shruggy

When I parted several 2003 & 2004 Rams there was always a buyer for the FCM because of the headlight issue.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

So my question is, could a guy just connect the posts coming into the module with the posts that power the head lights and eliminate the module?

At some point, the used good modules are going to be non-existent, and the new ones might be gone from the market as well, the trucks are already 20 years old, or very near 20 years old.

I don't see why you couldn't go directly from the fuse to the headlight lights and eliminate the module and the printed board before it. What am I missing?
