Yeah there's plenty of blocks out there right? I have zero trouble finding stock 5.7 blocks and I live in a geographic anomaly 100 miles from anywhere

Ain't no way I'd buy a Junkmaster anything let alone a block. Have you bought and used any of their products? If so what were they and what problems did you find and have? If not why are you putting their products down?

I've seen customers bring their junk in here, intakes don't sit flat in between heads, heads are filthy dirty and need a cleaning, valves aren't sealing, excessive core shift... Based on their stuff I have seen if I was buying one of these blocks I would expect to spend just as much on correcting the machining as if I had a nice used block sitting around possibly needing square decking, cylinder honing, line honing...

Just like Pro-form, these companies produce junk quality copies of American Made products and we wonder why so much domestic manufacturing is extinct.

I'm thinking they are just factory blocks, line bored for the billet main caps.

Speed Master is an Australian company that may be in a partnership with Pro Form or maybe they bought Pro Form or vice a versa

Another option. Dart Gen 3 Hemi block. Know a local guy that is having one of the first Dart blocks built for his twin turbo Dodge Dart. Should be interesting to see!
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

I haven't found anywhere claiming to have one in stock or even anyone who has purchased one, I unfortunately don't have the money to buy one myself and would prefer VVT anyhow so I am not going to waste a salesmans time finding out if they really exist till one of my customers decides he needs one or I see someone on here bragging and showing off pics.

Going back and looking at texts...
Buddy said December of last year that they had gotten the Dart block but it was sent back due to some of the holes being off.
His name is Troy Aves and he's on Facebook.

Just like Pro-form, these companies produce junk quality copies of American Made products and we wonder why so much domestic manufacturing is extinct. Speed Master is an Australian company that may be in a partnership with Pro Form or maybe they bought Pro Form or vice a versa [/quot The original company has been around since the 1970s from what I remember. Pro-Comp is now part of the company and according to Speedmaster their parts are manufactured in 3 or 4 countries and assembled in the USA, heads I suppose. I've used small parts for years without any problems then last year ordered a set of cnc ported BB heads. Never got them. They over sold during "Black Friday" in November and only have 1 machinist to do THOUSANDS of heads! It was a nightmare getting all my money back. As far heads go look up the YT video that shows trash in Edelbrock heads along with bad valve jobs. Everything you buy these days needs taken apart and inspected. Speedmaster blocks? no way. Look up the complaints for the Ford blocks. just a quick edit.. there is a guy in Dayton that runs stock 5.7 blocks and he goes or went 8.50s with a single turbo in a Volare . The last I checked he was turning it up and shooting for 7s using a twin setup.

that block has been out for a few years now, it will take 4.10 over bore, it was designed to fill the need for 6.1 blocks, but uses 5.7 open deck pattern , uses 5.7 Head gaskets, makes a great 392(4.00X3.90)ci engine , I finished one up in September with AFR heads made about 700hp on 93, Deck height is 6.1(9.239) and not 5.7s (9.252).....and before you start your crap HotrodDouche , BOTH 5.7s blue print deck height is 9.252.....and YES I've built 5.7 eagles with 04/06 and 08 rotating assemblies. the Eagle blocks are closer to blueprint height of 9.252 , while a lot of the early 03-05 blocks are closer to 9.258, I've had to cut a few 03's down as much as ..010 .
Photo is an 04 rotating assembly in an 09 eagle block.
