Where's a good spot to mount a pair of remote oil filters? I've seen them mounted up on the inner fender but I'm not a fan of mounting them higher than the pump. I' was thinking on the frame rail between the K and the rad support. The car is currently in the body shop so I can go and see if there's enough space and access there.

I agree on mounting them the same height or lower than the pump.
That being said on my last race car motor with a remote oil filter I mounted on the front of the motor near the driver side inner fender well on the motor plate above the oil pump with no problems with it mounted their up scope
That motor had one of the NASCAR type large remote mounted oil filters adapter with the bigger holes in it on the pressure return size to the oil pump up scope

There's also a lot of room in the ft wheelhouses.
Using a single oil filter on my SB Duster racecar, I mounted it aft of the RF wheel on the side of the cowl.
Never had a problem with oil pressure, and it was a clean filter change even with the 2-quart filter I used.

I've had mine fitted on the rad support since we fitted the oil accumulator in 2012. Never been an issue. You can just make out the billet mount to the right of the radiator.

I mounted mine behind the bumper with the bottom of the filter at the same height as the bottom of the bumper. Not a race car by any stretch, but it works and doesn't make a mess.

I mounted mine to the motor plate, above the oil pump and beside the water pump. No issues and very easy to change the filter. This a big block, race only E- body.

If you can fit it on the motorplate, it's one less thing you have to mess with while pulling the engine. Mine is mounted to the frame rail, on the drivers side, in the area between the radiator and the motorplate because i had no room for it.

I like this. Mine's not a race car either.

Here's one I just did that is that sandwiches the motorplate between the OFA and the vacuum pump. It also happens to be accessible thru the K-member ears.

Not where they are mounted on the Jensen Interceptor. Inner fender sideways.

Thanks Jim! It worked really well until i redid the plumbing, I flipped the engine over to get a better view of how I could reroute the lines and that's when I didn't notice 'the bottom port was now, the top port...that cost me pretty good. It had some non-typical packaging compromises but, again I like the fact that you dont have to remove oil lines if you pull the engine. On my own junk, i currently have it mounted to the frame because that was about the best choice considering everything.

Yea, I hear Ya.

On my Daytona, I put a semi-permanant label on one of the remote filter lines that says, "top port"
It saves time and avoids mistakes when I take the lines off the pump. OK... which port is the Inlet, and which the Outlet? .... confused
