I am changing to a one piece oil pan gasket. I picked it up’s from. Mancini

I usually use silicone. Does this type use hi temp silicone?

I don't think that type of gasket will require any kind of RTV or sealer.

No silicone required. I have zero leaks with that piece.

Silicone RTV is the the mis-used chemical in the automotive marketplace. Simple rule-of-thumb: Never apply RTV over/across a rubber gasket. It should only be used as a filer of gap .. such as intersecting corners of multiple gaskets (intakes, oil pans, etc.... just a little dab to fill the gap. Rubber gaskets are always best installed DRY.

In addition to NOT using any chemical sealant what-so-ever, since this gasket design has a metal internal core, it truly has very little compressability... barely any forgiveness to out-of-flat conditions. SO... make absolutely certain that your oil pan is FLAT at the side rails... fix or replace it IF the bolt holes are distorted from previous over-tightening, etc.

Don't use sealer unless there is some issue with the oil pan.
The sealer will actually eat into the sealing ribs of the molded windage tray gasket. It will still seal, but if you ever remove the tray, the sealing ribs where the sealer was will look like they were mixed into the RTV sealer.
I have a used windage tray like that, I should take a photo of it.
I also widen the windage slots a bit.
