Chargerfan68 pro stock Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 1,264 New York, USA	I’m not an expert on this subject but from what I know, most , if not all mopar engines filter the oil from the outside of the filter to the center. Cutting a filter apart for inspection is done by looking at the outside of the filter material for debris. 1.50 60Ft. , 10.75@ 127MPH Hauling 3900 LBS.

Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,163 Bend,OR USA	No, the oil flows back from the oil filter through the hollow bolt into the block oil passage, if I'm remembering correctly The rubber anti drain back flap in the top of the oil filters is design to keep the oil in the filter with no oil pressure, it only allows oil to flow under pressure Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
