I would not. If you really want U bolts, get the appropriate yoke. Having said that, if you're still using 7260 U joints, you probably don't need to change anything. I ran in the low 11s and high 10s at 3700 lbs w/ the stock style straps and never had an issue, but that was w/ 7290 U joints. I'm not sure how fast your car is or what combination you're running though.

Some of the street hemi 4 speed cars with Dana 60 had that yoke also
