From Marketplace in York, PA: "1982 Peace-Keeper armored vehicle on a Dodge Chassis. 360 V8 motor with automatic transmission, 4x4. 23,400 miles that are known. It has no inspection. It has a turret with a folding step, two rear bench seats and a rear deployment platform with rear grab rails. The vehicle currently runs and is drivable. VIN: I 1B6WW34T7CS259113. If you want a unique vehicle, here it is." Ad has LOTS of pics. Asking Price is $24,500. Marketplace LInkNowhere in the ad or in the Wikipedia story ( Wiki) on these fine pieces of government contracting does it say that this is a Ramcharger underneath, only that it was built on a Dodge chassis. I had the (dis)pleasure of working on them in the Air Force, and they're definitely a Ramcharger, with 1/2 ton truck springs trying to support about 9,000 pounds in empty weight. Front axle components were kept in inventory. Imagine a stock early 1980's air conditioning system trying to cool the interior of a vehicle built out of 1/2" steel armor and painted olive drab green... On the other hand, it's got top turret where you can mount your M-60 machine gun...

The VIN tells the story........
1982 Dodge W Series Pickup 4WD W-350 Standard Cab VIN: 1B6WW34T7CS259113
Some decoder sites went further and said it was a cab and chassis.

The thing almost looks home made.
And if it were half the price, I would check it out. But I am glad it is over priced. So is the wife.
Master, again and still

For all the armor, the front seems vulnerable. Grabbed a few pics before the ad goes away.....
