Your best 60' and mph are good for mid 11's for sure! It's always a successful day when it is in one piece after a day at the track.
Is it fuel injected or carbureted? It almost looks like fuel starvation as the mph is very close at the 8th and then drops off pretty quickly in the back half. I assume fuel injected based on the datalog comment- would be interesting to see if timing was the same for all runs, and what a/f was doing.

I was thinking the same thing, then i looked at my dyno graph and compared it to my dyno sheet. I realized i was spinning the motor way to high!!!! I was shifting around 6800, but peak TQ is at 4000 and by 6500 rpms ive lost over 200 ftlbs of tq. and around 150 HP. I think i need to shift it a bit sooner. I guess this is all part of the learning process.

When I looked at the data my AFRS were good and solid, and fuel pressure was constant too. Never leaned out everything looked good. Im thinking I am the problem. HAHAHA

Slow shifts will definitely slow you down quite a bit, .5 seconds per shift is 1.5 seconds that you’re not accelerating. Its not as easy as it looks or seems on the street though!
The important thing is you got back to the track, and have a baseline to improve on. Thats not bad at all though, but you really have to hammer those gears for the best time with a stick. If it makes you feel any better my car made 479 RWHP and the best I managed last time out with the 833 was 12.56 @ 113 - sloooow shifts (about .5 seconds like yours, maybe woese) and very soft 60 ft times for me.
At your power level and weight I would think you should be able to go low 11s @ 120+ or quicker, but of course some dynos read high, chassis needs to be optimized, etc. What heads/cam/intake and what compression ratio?
What is strange is that your first run picked up way more MPH on the back end of the track - are you sure you weren’t lifting on the others?

That looks like it could very well be the reason. Loosing 6 mph but going quicker.

It has victor heads, solid roller cam with 600 lift and like 270ish duration. 10.5 to 1 compression. The first run with the best MPH I was actually trying to take it easy the slow shifts were intentional, i had stripped the cluster gear in the trans on the street a few months ago. But i also short shifted it on the first run, i am hoping that is why the mph was so much more. the last 2 runs i spun it to 6800/7000 each shift. way out of the power band. the first run i left the line at 2500 rpms and spun the tires. by the third run i was leaving at 4500 with some light wheel spin. i am excited to get back to the track!!!!

We will see. After comparing my runs to my dyno charts I was shifting way to high. A few thousand rpm’s too high. The track isnt running this week but will do it again next week. Hope to have more results and maybe some progress by then! I think you would still want to shift at 6k+ to keep it in max average horsepower. There are ideal shift point calculators online to give you an idea.

I’m hoping between that and speeding up my actual shifts I’ll be in the mid to lo- 11s
