I'm looking for a larger capacity center sump oil pan for a 360 motor in my 1965 Valliant, I'm hoping for a bolt in and no fabricating or modifying one help
Barnd and part numbers will be appreciated, thanks in advance: Cab

I put that pan in my 65' Valiant wagon and had to notch the K frame a little.

I'm good with notching the K member a little sawzall weld upgrin
Was your car a 273 C.I. V8 or slant six car originally? The reason I'm asking is the steering linkage between the pitman arm on the steering box and the idler arm, my car is a slant six car and I've heard on here that the 273 V8 cars had a different bent, curve steering drag link on them confused help

I believe you’re gonna need a V8 draglink. 63-65 had different links for 6cyl and v8.
In 66 they all had the V8 link, with a 6 or 8

Can’t remember but the 67 and up were the same. We stuck a 340 in a 65 valiant that had a /6 and only thing different was the converter hub size that went into the crank (we had a ring made) no issue with drag link iirc.

The shallow one did come on some slant 6 '66 cars. I took that photo and the top one was off my slant 6 '66 Dart. I think '66 was just a weird year, with some slants coming with the shallow link and some coming with the dropped link. Maybe the factories were just using old stock they had on hand?

My '66 had the shallow link on it. Who knows if it was original or not. I'd never heard of the '66 all getting the deep bar before.

I’m not sure where I read that, but I have a 66 dart /6 and I’ll take a look.
I hope I’m right. Check out the price of a repro

B1duster, yes thats the pic I found but it said too big to move. yeah for that price I shoulda grabbed that one for $150 I saw awhile back! from what I understand they used some V8 ones on /6 cars depending on what was in stock on the assy line at the time especially in '66. No harm no foul. RR
