The smaller master cylinder bores will stop better than the larger ones will, a lot better especially on non power brakes up scope
I used either a 7/8 or 15/16 M.C. (CRS now blush)on my 1966 Coronet Deluxe that I converted to disc brakes on the front wrench
I haven't driven it much and I do have a problem with the current M.C. it is not holding pressure very well, time to try again on a different one whiney shruggy

This is 100% correct. Use the larger and you will never panic stop it . I made that mistake.
I converted my 65 to dual circuit and followed the ehrenberg disco tech swap. No prop valve , just use an adjustable valve in the rear line and experiment on damp pavement so rears just lock up first. It will be the best improvement you make to this car . My parts came from a 74 dart fwiw

1 1/32" : F88787
15/16" : F80266

these are 74-75 dart applications.

Disc/drum or drumdrum? If drum/drum there was no proportioning valve , it is just a distribution block with a switch to trigger the brake warning light.

running up my post count some more .

Owning both a '65 and '67, this is what I did to my manual drum/drum '65. It worked fine. I sourced the brass splitter block on the frame rail and an OEM MC from a salvage yard and had it rebuilt. Bench bleed the MC carefully. I don't recall if I needed the shaft from the pedal, but I'm a parts hoarder, so I probably got it too off the donor car. The rear steel lines I reused as feasible, and bent and flared the second line myself. I have good bending skills and tools, and easy to get it right having my '67 right there for reference. I recall it was a little hard to source the second fitting at the MC, it has a particular size or thread.

if my feeble memory serves me right, [laugh2] the sizes are 1/2-20, and 9/16-18.
i think i have some of those in my drawer of brass fittings, as well as the factory fittings i have squirreled away over the years.
if i called these sizes wrong, i'll go out and measure them.
