Will the new, solid extended lever cause any change in the kickdown? Ray S OP member Joined: Feb 2021 Posts: 149 PINE VALLEY	So, Holley tech replied that the spring loaded lever is normally for manual choke. For whatever off reason they put it on the electric choke in 1971. Quote Makes Sense now. I know on the Aftermarket Carbs we have changed the Assembly of the years. That may be the issue here. the Spring was there to assist with the Return to Neutral of the Fast Idle Cam. Last edited by Ray S; 02/24/23 12:28 PM.
