some dimensions to confuse you but 3-3/4" from the right edge of the trunk lid to the rr foot and 3/16" up from the emblem (basically centered)

BlueStar2,

I can help with the Hemi stuff. I will post a few pictures but you will have to wait until tomorrow before I can get any measurements. Tell us about your project.

Way Cool! Another 68 Hemi RR comes back to life... I finished mine up recently after a very long down time. I have lots of pictures from my project if you need anything else.

OK, here are the numbers for the Hemi emblem. You will have to place the emblem next to the trunk and transfer the stud hole placement. I tried to see if my emblem would come off but I'm pretty sure I put a little dab of RTV behind it so it would not easily be pried off by some kid or souvenir hunter. Since our esteemed colleague put dimensions on his pictures I felt compelled to try the same... ... Anyway, 2 5/16” from the left edge of the trunk and up 3/8” from the crown or body edge to the edges of the Hemi emblem. The Hemi and Road Runner emblems share the same 3/8” placement so they are even with each other. Good luck! Post a picture of the trunk after you get the decals and emblems in place.

Thanks for the dimensions!!!!! I will be drilling and installing them this week. After I get them on I will post some pictures. I already did the door emblems yesterday and once we do a final buff, I will be putting on the birds.
Thanks again for all the help!!

Mark,

Glad we could help...

Moderator - This topic has come up a few times in the past. This time there were some really good pictures and info passed along. This topic would be a good candidate for the Tech Archives.

Good information! Just helped me out for my doors. Does anyone have a picture of the dash bird? I'm questioning whether mine is correct.
The first couple links on page four are no longer working, at least for me.
Thanks
