Is there a master cylinder for manual disc brakes in size 15/16 " bore size that looks kinda stock for a late 60s or early 70s B body . with Manual disc brakes ?
OR is there even an option besides the plastic bodied version like late models
Smallest I can find is 1-1/16"

Go to the parts store and look up a 1975 Duster w/power disc brakes. It will have a 15/16" bore. Factory look.

Should look like the one in my 1973 Dart Sport. Had one that came on the car rebuilt since we knew it worked.

What I found interesting.
Is they list power brakes master as 15/16 bore.
manual brakes ( same application ) has 1-1/16 bore

I believe some of the PB cars had an additional bell crank linkage that may have changed the pedal ratio not sure which direction though shruggy

B and E did. A body had that bracket assembly, so I assume that was similar. B body power disc were 1 1/8" at least through 70

The 69 B bodies I owned, and my fathers 72 duster, with power discs all had this , B body under the dash , A body under the hood . I believe it was because they had to raise the assembly up so the booster would clear the engine/exhaust manifold ...

running up my post count some more .

On a side note.

My brothers 70 duster and also found some 1969 B bodies.
Manual discs were optional / available.
But yet. ......
And best i can tell.
They all had a bore size 1-1/16 or maybe 1-1/8 .

1 1/8" My understanding at least thru 70 that disc brakes mandated power disc. No manual disc early on. What happen in the 70s, I don't know. Maybe it became an option then.

Maybe when the A body got the large bolt pattern wheels (73 up??), they gave them manual disc brakes ? I remember mom & dads 76 Valiant, bought new, had manual disc brakes.

My brother bought a 1970 Duster 340 off the original owner back in early 80s - manual disc brakes
and Since then Ive seen a few others equipped same way .

I remember reading manual disc brakes were optional on Taxis and maybe Police cars back in 68 or 69 maybe ?????

Correct. A bodies could be had from 67-70 with manual disc brakes.
Same master cylinder for that application regardless of if it was manual or power.
And there was a manual disc brake master cylinder for 70 B body taxi. It was the same 1-1/8 bore master cylinder used on C body with disc that year with an added push rod.

Fixed it.
Bench bled and on the car.
A quick bleed all around. Then took it for a spin.

I feel much better now if my daughter drives it.

Car stops really well.
