I do have the lifetime power train warranty, not sure if it applies. I am looking at possible causes and eliminating them as I can. Oil level was good Oil pressure is good Changed the oil today just to see if that helps Then most likely to the dealer.

Does the 2009 have lifetime power train warranty from Mopar? If so, it may be a free fix at the dealer. Not sure when they quit offering the lifetime on power train. 2009 was the last year for the Lifetime powertrain.
running up my post count some more .

Thanks to all, it ended up being the solenoid for cylinder 1 that was bad. It was all covered under warranty, including the diagnostic fee. I have lifetime max care on 2 of my vehicles. Co worker says I'm crazy for taking the vehicle to the dealer for brakes since other shops can do it cheaper. While that is true, they try to make sure any issues that the warranty will cover are covered.Corrosion issues are not covered, and in Michigan that is an issue. They worked around it a few times. Pay a little more for maintenance, but when it comes to expensive repairs, the max care pays off.

Well, while that CEL fix was free, my recall costed me over $1,000 on the same visit. The recall was for the gas tank strap because of it being weakened by rust and corrosion. When they droped the tank, the strap and the bracket it was supposed to hook up to were rusted. They had to weld in a new bracket, replace the brake line that was also corroded in that area. I guess I should be happy the brake line was taken care of, but all that happened because of the corrosion above the gas tank, which is why they initiated the recall.
