THESHAKERPROJECT OP super stock T Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 1,178 NORTHERN VA	Called the guy in CA that did them but phone number disconnected...sooo does anybody else rebuild the Ranco type heater control valves these days ?? Thanks .

CSK master Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 2,930 Pattison Texas	I did mine myself, DMT has a rebuild kit 1968 Charger COLD A/C Hilborn EFI 512ci 9.7 compression, Stealth heads, 4.10 gear A518 ODtrans 4100lb,10.93 full street car trim 2020 T/A 392 Stock 11.79 @ 114.5

He lists a bunch of OE part numbers. I have no idea what mine are. I guess I'd have to dig through the parts book or find an aftermarket listing that included the part number. Might be helpful to show a picture of the style of water valve to know if I should pursue it. I think many have the same basic design, but with different mounting brackets and actuators. I found that new four seasons 74661 unit in gold cad. Looks like the stock unit. Anytime you have two different places or even batches of gold cad done, often time they don't match 100%. Because these parts are connected, any differences will stand out more. That's if it matters to you. Point is, I can see the value of rebuilding your old one with the DMT parts.
