You need to be more specific as to what gasket you are using and what you are thinking of. I see Milodon offers three oil pan gaskets that may be applicable to the conversation here. Two LA's and one Magnum, Of the two LA's one is for the 318/340 pans and the other is for the 360 pan. They do not interchange. The Magnum one is listed as for "Chrysler 360 (1992-2003 Magnum Only)" which is not entirely correct, it should fit all magnums. But basically, the gasket needs to match the pan. I had overlooked the two notches at the timing cover when I put an LA pan on my Magnum. I ended up flattening the notches with a hammer and dolly to essecially remove the notches. I was able to use the modern one piece gasket effectively after that.
