I'm going to be using a 15/16 bore 2-bolt aluminum master and a 4-bolt to 2-bolt adapter. I'll use a standard gasket between the adapter and firewall. I assume it would be a good idea to put a gasket between the master and the adapter too? If so, is anyone making one for the 2-bolt masters or do I need to make one? I will not be using a booster.

The gasket is included in the MC adapters that I sell. I don't know if the gasket is for sale anywhere, I have them made for me.

what is the reason for the gasket ? shruggy
if the master cylinder leaks, it needs rebuilt or replaced.

I bought your adapter from Mancini Racing a few years ago. A gasket was not included. They had two different styles available. Yours and a MP part. Yours looks WAY cleaner/nicer so that's the one I bought.

To keep dust/dirt out of the interior I would guess. Maybe water could get in if it leaked down the firewall onto the master.

Depends how long ago you bought it. I've been including the gasket for the last couple of years.

It was probably one of the last years that they attended the Mopar Nats. It's been awhile ago now.
