I'm thinking of stepping up on my new race motor to use a crank driven Pro Charger and maybe using ethanol or methanol in it. My question is what size are you using, which type of fuel and how much power will it make. How high are you revving your motor with your Pro Charger? PM me on here if you like also My current plans are using a 4.500 bore Koleno high nickel block, 4.375 stroke older top fueler crank full counterweights with a good set of B1-MC heads with either Jesel or T&D paired rocker arm set up using a EFI set up .

On your valvetrain, study what the fuel guys use for rocker material and bearings/ bushings. Needle bearing equipped offset rockers are a disaster in a normally aspirated, hi lift situations. I have a box full of failed rockers. If i had the money i would use steel rockers, DLC coated shafts, and pressure feed them. You are going to need some serious springs at least on the intakes, since what ever boost you run will push on the intake valve. If you adk JESEL for a catolog, you will see a lot of stuff most of us never do. Good luck with this project. I wish i could do something similar. Edit; i forgot to mention going to bronze bushings. No more needlebearings to destroy an engine!

I'm running an F3D102 on a 400 inch small block with methanol and a gear drive. It makes enough power to run 4.30's at 168 in the eighth so maybe 2000ish hp. Methanol is the way to go - no intercooler, no ice tanks, simple piping, cheap etc. That size engine is going to want an F3 for sure - something like a 136. I would say 2600-2800hp if you push it some. Don't be afraid of higher compression and you'll need lots of fuel - mechanical pump and probably two injectors per cylinder. You'll make enough power to crush any weak parts from the flywheel back especially if it's heavy - so be ready for an expensive converter, transmission, 40 spline axle set up and so on....

After talking to one of the techs at the Blower Shop last week I'm thinking maybe step the power down a little to start with and get the chassis and ME dialed in for faster than 7.50 ET before shooting for the mid to low 6s in the 1/4 mile I'm looking at their F3R-130 or the next bigger F3R-136, this is based on 550 + C.I. with the B1-MC heads My current combo has gone 8.86 at 150 MPH in the 1/4, 5.50 at 125 MPH in the 1/8 mile, the difference between this car and the last high nine second car is huge in the first 100 ft. I've been blessed that both cars handled great and didn't do anything stupid that I couldn't handle I suspect that this next step is HUGE

I would also go with a very easy [mild] cam lobe to help the valve train live longer from running stiffer springs on the intake because of the BOOST, no need in crazy fast lobes with a Supercharger
