I am going to use the larger 68 340 air cleaner , and I would prefer to have a pie tin like the Plymouth 340 in red, but with a 273 callout . I see the decal for the 273 air cleaner , but I don’t think it would layout right on the larger air cleaner , and I would prefer it on a pie tin . Any ideas who might make one, or have them ? I am thinking I may need to modify the callout on a 340 tin . Thanks !

You may have to buy the decal and cut the individual letters out and place them on the pie tin your plan on using. If that does not work based on size and spacing you can pay a sign shop to scan the numbers/letters off a new decal and make new ones in a larger size if that is what it takes.

My first step would be to copy several good images to your phone, and take that to a couple of your local graphics shops and talk to them. You might be surprised at what some can do.

I did just that (a "426" callout on a 440) for a project a few years ago.
Local graphics place figured out a cut line to get the flat applique to work with the tapered center of the lid.
It could go over a pie tin or the lid itself.
Had to look closely to see the seam once I installed it.

Contact Michael Beard at Staging Light Graphics. He made me a set of custom valve cover graphics that looked original. Sorta hard to see but they said "Superstock 451" instead of 426.

It may be some time for me to get this done , as I have not swapped out engines yet , and I am gradually getting things together

I like the work on your valve cover gaskets . I will have to check with them .
