Most car magazines these days are 90% advertisements. Either overt ones, or "sponsored" story pieces.
This should come as no surprise as most of the old magazines are just trying to do whatever they can to stay "relevant" and keep the doors open.
Maybe they think jumping on the EV bandwagon will grab some younger readership?

I imagine when the motorcar started to gain popularity there was more than one stubborn sole who walked in in front one expecting it to stop and was promptly run over. All you guys who are still wearing bellbottoms and mullets need to realize that EV's aren't going away. The more that are produced and sold the greater the technological advancements will be. If for no other reason you'll be forced onto the bandwagon simply because you won't be able to afford the gas prices that escalate due to lower demand as the EV's take over. The writing is on the wall. Safe to assume either you struggle with reading or maybe its the comprehension of said reading? Nobody said anything about what you speak. Generalize much? Sounds like I offended someone with a mullet and bellbottoms !!

Electric powered cars were here before ICE powered cars, ICE power won out for a good reason and forcing us to go back to them is like making everyone turn in their I-pod and replacing them with 8 tracks.
I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

EV's are worse for this planet than ICE anyday...

Passed a trailer full of them last night. My first exposure to Rivian. Wasn't impressed enough to google it...
While outside on the turnpike
They got this new hit tune
Where thrills become as cheap as gas
And gas as cheap as thrills

We're only a couple years away from EV being completely forced down our throats with the manufacturers dropping their ICE offerings. I'm calling it. As more of these things are purchased and normies park them in their garages people will finally understand 110v@15a is not sufficient to charge these cars and upgrading electrical in a staggering amount of homes is going to entail replacing everything back to the pole. Unable to go back to the convenience of ICE people will demand the Fed pays for the electrical upgrade and another $x trillion infrastructure bill will need to be passed to get us out of the corner we painted ourselves in.

Wait...so what you are saying is that electricity is NOT free and does not fall from the sky and that distribution of said not-free product costs money? Someone best let the politicians in on this little nuance.

entail replacing everything back to the pole. It's going to entail replacing everything back to and including the coal mine.
