I'll be impressed when they can be recharged as quickly as a fuel tank can be filled.

I imagine when the motorcar started to gain popularity there was more than one stubborn sole who walked in in front one expecting it to stop and was promptly run over. All you guys who are still wearing bellbottoms and mullets need to realize that EV's aren't going away. The more that are produced and sold the greater the technological advancements will be. If for no other reason you'll be forced onto the bandwagon simply because you won't be able to afford the gas prices that escalate due to lower demand as the EV's take over. The writing is on the wall. Safe to assume either you struggle with reading or maybe its the comprehension of said reading? Nobody said anything about what you speak. Generalize much?
Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

They should give it to a truck you can buy, for sure. I don't get this.

We're planning to order one at some point, but I want to wait for them to be out and on the road for a bit before we do. We're not sure if we want the truck or the SUV. EV controversy aside, the camping setup on the truck is pretty sweet. Perfect retirement vehicle for us, and maybe Apple CarPlay will be available by then.
Doug DeMuro's review of the R1T was really interesting.

No doubt about that. One of the reasons we're waiting for them to be on the road for a while before we order one. We can always change our minds.

Bed too short and two too many doors. Grill is hideous. At least you can't see it when driving it. Kill it with fire,

It's not a good looking vehicle. At all. No it is fugly. The grille/front end is especially fugly. And when was the last time we've seen a vehicle with a golf club compartment? A '30s Cadillac? We have a very LONG way to go before EVs are truly viable. We simply don't have the infrastructure to support millions of these being plugged in for a charge while parked in the driveway overnight. Or even thousands of them right now... And there's certainly not enough of our hideous cackling' VP to go around and hold onto the charging cord on every EV out there as if she's busy "refilling" the tank.

The C8 corvette trunk was specifically designed to be able to hold a bag of clubs…it’s not as wierd as it sounds.

Just not my thing, and I'm LONG past any supposed "mid-life crisis."
