EXCELLENT point S .... thx to the others .. even cHeEzY!
What’s happening is the Sarasota airport is expanding BIG TIME since Southwest Airlines moved in and they need this parking area back from the people who leased the WHOLE LOT.
My workshop is on a dead-end road BUT EVEN STILL it doesn’t offer me the secure feeling that I’d like to have. Park a vehicle in front of it. Problem solved.

150 beans ? That’s an ole Joel’s budget ! I ordered one off eBay LIKE that black one but it was RED POWDER.... Free returns offered .. if it doesn’t cut it ! That gps idea ? .. is there a way that can be defeated? Like putting something over the trailer to prevent the signal?

The Master Lock hack is nothing new. But again locks are not hard to defeat most the time. I use a similar hitch lock and padlock on the lock. I also have two very large Dobermans and cameras all over. Will this stop a determined thief likely not but they will think twice with 240lbs of Doberman to overcome

One of our mid west members removes all four tires. It serves two purposes as the tires are out of the sun and it makes it a lot harder to steal.

Thx cHeEzY... that was mentioned before... but it reminds me of a bud up in Michigan. He did that but because DOING THAT pizzed off the potential thief .. they stole a couple of drums. But .... here’s an idea. Put cable locks on each pair on each side then BUILD plywood UV tire protectors WITH wood underneath... that would have to be removed to get at the cables. OBVIOUSLY.... to justify this .. the trailer would have to be not regularly moved

Someone had shared this video in response to the same question recently. Looks like the same lock you pictured in the original post. Master Lock 377 trailer lock! Wow, so easy to pick, a crook could do it! With the battery operated tools available today, a hand held angle grinder with a metal cut-off wheel cuts things off quick and easy. I like the ideas posted to make the trailer harder to tow away.
