I would like to add aftermarket AC to my 1973 Charger Rallye 340CID.
I do have the correct crank and water pump pulleys for an AC car. I will replace the alternator to a 2 groove style.
I would like to use 2 V belts like the factory did and have it look like this attached picture. This is a factory setup modified by owner.
Bouchillion, Vintage Air, Auto AC Solutions, Classic Air etc.... don't offer the right brackets to run 2 V belts for small block engines.
Wondering if anyone knows of a vendor that has such a kit.

Thank you for all the replies.

BDW did you have to use any of the original AC brackets to work with the Vintage Air bracket?
Did you purchase the whole kit for Challenger from them, or did you mix and match?
If it is not too much trouble, can you please post or IM photos of the whole setup?

I plan to document my conversion in detail for other 71 to 74 B bodies owners so information and tips is very much appreciated.

I also plan on converting my 70 Challenger 383 to the Sanden setup.

Great forum. Thank you for the help.

Can you just use the brackets and pulleys from an 80's 318?

I started with factory AC set-up.
Removed compressor and all brackets, bolted on the VA bracket.
Bought the Sanden compressor on EBay, then took car to local guy to fab up the lines to the factory condenser and firewall.

mgoblue9798 using 80's brackets might work too. Sounds reasonable.
