Just got our Strange from Dr. Diff.
Car is a 71 RR, originally a BB 833 converted to a 727.
Diff has a 1350 D60 yoke.

Should I wait until everything's together and measure yoke to trans spline
or is this a no-brainer for a shaft supplier?

Thanks, Joe

If you’d said “71 Duster” I could have hooked you up! Get everything installed and measure…..

I doubt a driveshaft company would take an order without you measuring. Most companies have a form for you to fill out. That way when it is wrong it is your fault.

The standard length and diameter are known since that was an available option for your car when new.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Are the Strange housing dimensions an exact match as the OE Dana's?

Any other considerations?

Thanks, Joe

What is the proper measurement from the trans to the yoke?

Strange 60 seems pretty close to O.E. I ordered my drive shaft through Mancini racing. I started with what the factory service manual stated, minus half the difference in diameter between 7290 U-joint caps and a 1350 shruggy Hindsight 20/20, I would've been fine with what the service manual said drive
