Who's alternator are you guys using for your race cars? Looking for something that charges at a lower rpm (say 900-1200 rpm or so) that way it will charge while the car is idling.

The Densos should work. AR Engineering makes the brackets to mount them.

I use a GM CS130. It charges a rock solid 14.1 volts from 1000RPM-7000RPM with a 5" pulley crank pulley.

I Run EFI, 2 wideband controllers, two fans, electric water pump, 2 fuel pumps, lights and wipers. I have run every single bit of that for hours on the highway before. This alternator is one of the best mods I have ever done to my car.
