I'm restoring a 71 satellite and am in the process of rebuilding the front suspension, but I'd like to add a factory sway bar. I swear I've seen the brackets for the end links in the ads above as well as at Mancini's and other places, but I've searched to no avail. Have they been discontinued or was I just imagining they once existed? Does anyone know where I could buy a pair? I have another set of control arms with the brackets but I've already sandblasted the originals and replaced the pivot shafts and bushings.

This might be just what you're looking for:

There's mention of adding $50 for cars without a factory front bar.

Mike.

Thank you for the reply. It appears that they only sell complete sway bar kits as there isn't any parts list. If I cannot find those control arm brackets separately I'll either make my own or get another pivot and bushing set and clean up the pair of control arms I have with the brackets. The sway bar was a after thought, but since I'm converting to disc brakes I figured I might as well add the sway bar too for a little more safety. This car will be a driver.

Hotchkis has them for about $40-50 for the pair.

Attached is a fabrication drawing for sway bar brackets I saved years ago and do not know who to thank for it. If I recall, the bracket pairs were cut from a single piece of tube steel. There had been a pretty good thread that documented the fabrication. Not sure if that thread was here or elsewhere.

Wow! Thanks for the print, screenshot it and saved. That would be a good thing for the tech archives, unless it's already there and I missed it.

Also thanks for the Hotchkiss link. I thought they only sold high end tubular suspension parts.
