Very impressive.....Granted, there aren't many Mopars, but looking at how fast these guys run on those little tires is really somthing... The other thing I like, many of them closely resemble the original car they started with....That's my favorite part about it I guess. They don't look like some smashed eggshell like the prostocks... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZ0FCPS9gSg

Seeing those guys try to walk on all that glue brought a smile to my face! I was there a couple of years ago with a friend, and walked right out of my shoe. If you've never been to one of the Duck X races, you're missing out. Great stuff, and some of the best heads up racing you will ever see.
It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.
Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....

I love these cars and the performance is astounding but the truth is unless the track is flypaper non of them would get down the track.

That's not the only track/event that runs 275 classes those guys race at. Lights out and YB Nationals just happen to be the biggest events and have the best prep ensuring the fastest times. We run a 275 Drag radial and I never cease to be amazed at the power it can hold.

One of the best X275 racers, Rob Goss, leaves about 125 miles of me. If I remember correctly he and his team won the NMCA X275 championship last year. They have a black, new body style, Challenger. They need to paint it though. It is black. Why does he need to paint it? I think it looks amazing in gloss black with green lettering.

It looks like to me that those cars don't have much, if any, chassis movement at the hit but due have it after letting go of the trans brake, very stiff chassis set up maybe? Some, not many, of those cars have a lot more chassis movement than the others have

Tire management. The tuners earn their pay.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
