What do you guys think about the plenum casting job by edelbrock on this super victor? I think I am going to send it back to summit for an exchange. For $475 I would think the quality would be better. Is this normal for their castings ?

Pretty typical of stuff coming out of the Edelbrock camp lately. TrickFlow is well over a year now as far as quality control goes for their new small block manifold being released. It’s very fixable and would be if you are getting it ported but when you spend over 400.00 for it many would expect to bolt it on as I wouldn’t do that to any out of the box intake. My buddy spent over 600.00 for a Chevy Dart intake and it flowed worse than a victor jr I worked on for him.
1970 Duster Edelbrock headed 408 5.984@112.52 422 Indy headed small block 5.982@112.56 mph 9.42@138.27
