I've done the 71 B body install, nice kit, I'll assume your going/using floor shifter?... the tranny is cable shifted, you can use the stock shifter but you have to modify it with the supplied components to detente 4 forward shift positions, kick down linkage gets replaced with a TV cable, the kit is supplied with braided SS tranny lines for cooling, as they exit on the passenger side of the tranny, no floor work was required in the 71 B body application, I would assume no floor mods for the 2nd gen B body as the A41 tranny is rather narrow, more so than the 727 case, pretty much a bolt in kit, with minor mods....what's your current HP/torque?

I think Mopar Action did that swap on their '69 road Runner, didn't they ?
Though it would be weird for them to use anything non-Mopar, so I could be wrong.
Maybe send a message to Ehrenberg, who checks in here from time to time, if it's not online in their archive.

Yes, Stage 3 no question if your at 440 hp at the rear wheels....

As far as the B&M if it's an older model (3spd) I don't know if B&M offers upgrade components, but B&M offers a new line of AOD shifters

Apples and oranges here but I did an AT conversion to the Tremec five speed in my ‘72 Charger. SST was a pleasure to work with, the Kit was awesome, the instructions worked well. It was radical surgery so there were a couple of issues and SST came through without any drama. It was a HUGE “trigger” to pull for me but I have absolutely no regrets. It probably saved me from selling the car.
