No answer for you but man...talk about a horrible lag between throttle input and the truck actually reacting to it. My 14 isn't very fun to drive. I thought I'd get used to it but it just gets more annoying. I think that can be corrected with a tuner but not interested in spending that kind of money. Even the throttle enhancers aren't cheap.

i don't know anything about rams with hemi's and the delay on acceleration after stepping on the pedal..
i own a tuned 08 mustang and this is a somewhat common complaint on mustangs. especially ones that have cheap, universal canned, tunes done to them. it's easily corrected thru a proper tune.

One of my friends has one on his '12. I think it's called a throttle command? Said it was the best $200 hes spent on a vehicle, totally changed the driving experience. Several settings and you can customize settings as well.

Did you try calibrating your throttle? That fixes most of the issues. Not sure what the procedure is on your Ram, but google it.

I have a friend that tried on on his new Challenger 1320 to improve reaction times. He was not impressed.

You can spend $200 for a throttle commander or add another $150 and get a Hypertech interceptor and the throttle booster as a package. noticeable performance difference and takes about 20 minutes to install. Plug and play.

The stock drive by wire has a pretty good delay. My son drag races a 2017 Scat Pac. The reaction times are way slow unless you sneak it in the beams or guess. He can normally go .020 or better in hi normal car. This car is closer to .100
