HOW TRICK are those exhaust manifolds ? There is no stone left unturned. Just think the term - “smoke and mirrors”. Basically a BIG SS/AH engine on the inside looking like a street Hemi on the outside.

The exhaust manifolds are nothing special. Just extrude honed street hemi manifolds. Remember, it all has to go through mufflers and a two and a half inch exhaust system all the way back to the bumper. And the hemi exhaust manifolds are outstanding as built.

He beat the Corvette in the final.
Agreed that a lot of money is spent doing this type of racing but the majority of the racers are hard working blue collar guys.
It took me 15 years to figure it out and who knows how much $ but a wedge was not the right motor to work with in F.A.S.T
I have no complaints I still enjoy it very much but I don't think the Max Wedge will ever see 9's. At least not with a 340 lbs driver??

Is the front of the hood supposed to be lifting up that much........ It’s not lifting up - old school trick to get more fresh air under the hood. Some guys raise the rear part of the hood to let hot air escape too.

Would have thought extensively hand ported before extrude honing at least. At best I would think cut/weld/blend so the downward break wasn't so extreme. (try to increase radius at top of manifold ports)
